I kind of suspect that the images would just be tiff files or some other bitmap... does anyone know?

At those prices, they'd be worth it anyway just for the ideas.

Bob the info about the CD versions listed most of the bitmap flavors but they did include EPS? not sure if it would be vector though

I have collected at least half of these books and they are just scans of the images within the book itself....as images....but it saves the time of the actual scan!...and they are available here in the states!
