Some of you know of the mission trips that I partake in, this year it is in Houston Texas.
I got a call last night from my pastor and he said he had the a/c on, I told him I did too... I opened the window....LOL. Now us yankee folk are expecting a good snow storm today and we have beeen living in a blast freezer up here all winter long. So this warmer weather will be well welcomed.
Dont get me wrong I am sad to miss yet another snow storm, but these 20 below temps are getting old. Yesterday never made into the double digits here.
Now a white boy like me will fry like a tator tot in those temps so I guess I gotta get me some sunscreen 1000.
Wish us well on our trip, flying From Logan airport during these times is a bit of a concern, but hey if Habul Jebbarb gets up and wants to drive this plane, I'll taking my Goverment issued Duct Tape and a bag of pork rhines for defense.

Hey Bob, haven't you heard? Airlines are now serving a bacon, beer and duck-tape lunch. The idea is, you keep an eye on the guy next to you. If he won't drink his beer or eat his bacon, duck-tape the guy to his seat til you land.

I've been to Texas 3 times, all in January, 2 times in Dalla, the othet time in San Antonio, the times in Dallas were pleasant, temp around 65-70 degrees, in San Antonio it was "FREEZING" Around 20 degrees, it was so cold, but the day after we left, it warmed up. It's all depends on that dreaded Jet Stream. Have a great trip!
