We're both working today, but we're taking the kids to dinner and a movie tonight. Our kids are in their 20s now, so it's kinda fun to share with them as well.
Happy Valentines Day

Patsee will awake to a card stuck to the breakfast counter...I'm going on a material run,so she'll get to work to find a huge foil "heart shaped" ballon floating over her computer...when I return with the flowers we'll go have a nice lunch (maybe some 9ball for me), a little work this afternoon then off to the big Valentines day dinner (sea food for her steak for me) another card (the mushy one).
After that...none of your business!
But thanks for askin'..."werks fer me"

So far I spent the morning with my daughter. Gave her a little chocolate and a Hello Kitty Bouncy ball.
Yesterday and the day before I helped her get the little Valentine's ready with her name (she's only three and really only writes her name) and we made cupcakes for her schools party.
Don't know if hubby and I are doing anything. Probably not. I just assume stay here with both of them and do whatever. We'll probably go to Target and spend more money on her!!

Thank you, Nettie!!! I would enjoy that, too, and your expressing the wish is a gift I treasure. After all, I have already said it on this board that when I grow up I want to be just like you.
I plan to come to see you before the year is out, and after I meet you in person I probably will have a spurt of maturation just to get there faster.

As usual, my husband being a chef has to work on Valentine's Day. I probably won't see him at all tonight. I don't think we've ever spent a Valentine's Day together - it's the second busiest day of the year in the restaurant world (after Mother's Day).
That's okay though, tomorrow is my birthday and we already have a babysittter all lined up, champagne and oysters on ice and as Monte said - the rest is a secret!
Amy, you remind me of my daughter and me. I bought her a Dora The Explorer outfit - she was just thrilled. She and I will have a nice quiet Valentine's Dinner all by ourselves tonight.

Today I won't bring chocolate or flower to my girlfriend, I probably won't kiss her also. Hey I can't do that everyday of the year!!!! A guy needs a break.
Janette, I love that layout!
We will probably watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding also!
HAVE FUN!

Netti; Came across an article saying that coastal villages of Novi Scotia had the highest per capita of centurians than the reast of the world. Their photos of a 95 year old had the same gleam in their eyes as that of a baby. Stress..... is it self generated or inheareted? does enviorenment or social acceptance of industrial expression result in our attitude of mind? Where does ego overlap?

Henry that's the best!! Thanks for letting us see it. I spent the summer of my 16th year in Sweden, in Boros. I had a wonderful time, got to live with a Swedish family, and even remember a little of the language.
Happy!!!! How did you find the heart?

Thanks Myra, I have been to Borås a few times, I think its famous for making garments etc.
I have had the heart for a few years (10)
I did a couple of Roxette tours in the late 80's early 90's, and at the end of the tour stored the stageset at my warehouse, anyway their management said I should chuck everything out as they didn't want to pay storage anymore.
I kept the heart (from Listen to your Heart!)and the PA skrims, but had never got it out until now, always thought it was 110v and we use 220v, but the fan on the back is 220v, so 3 of us rigged it up supporting the fan on the kids ropebridge in the garden, and I had a stage PAR64 lamp on it at nighttime when she came home!
