We're Still Kickin' Randy, thanks for asking. Man! You talk about a winter... and the wind! Yesterday they recorded 144km hr winds at the airport, it literally blew 2 727's into a hanger, no one was hurt, thank God. It blew my chimney cap off my chimney as well. This winter has'nt stopped, storm after storm. But Business has been great this month, January was a little flat, but Feb. is rock'n, so let's hope it keeps that way. How's the weather up you're way?

Sunny, Sunny, and Sunny. Still no snow yet. Roses and krokuses are blooming. Gonna be a bad year for wildfires this summer if we dont get a winter first.

"blew two 727's... & a chimmney cap..." It's just going from bad, to worse out there. Hang on!
Weather here is about 80 degrees, clear, sunny, light breeze, & basically a beautiful morning. Had just enough chill to the air up on the slopes of Haleakala last night to enjoy long sleeves while watching TV in front of the screen door.
But I have an Idea! Maybe we could exchange shops for a couple of weeks, you come up here and do my work, and I could come down there and do your work.. waddayasay?

Neil I think I offered that to Doug one time too. Great plan. But I must say Seattle is kicking butt in the sunshine department lately. No complaints here.

Glad to see your alright Neil... My daughter is spending her first winter in St. John's, she's positivly sick of the weather ... That's saying something considering she's a Labrador girl. Weather here in Sunny Labrador is just a tad cold, -42 windchill this morning (and not a breath of wind)

Isn't this an El Nino year again? It seems like we are getting a lot more snow this year...I love the snow- My only complaint is that I drive an Echo and they are like empty cardboard boxes when the roads are bad ("slip slidin' away...slip slidin' ah-wayyayy...").

Yep it's snowing again, I can hardley see out my front windows, it's piled that high, but 2 weeks ago it was almost 10 degrees here, the snow took a beating against the warm weather, but Nooooo-oooo it has to snow again and again and again. Steve I'll have a swig of screech for you Fri Night.

Neil, now you're making me sick... I love snow! & I want some too. Any good boarding up your way?
Maybe we could do that shop swapping idea. You could run my Edge & get jobs out between surf sessions, & at the end of a day of snowboarding, I'll print out your edge work.
I've seen those classified ads where people trade homes for a month's vacation, maybe we're onto something where those of us solo shop owners who don't want to close up shop completely to take a trip, can still get a vacation.
You too Cheryl, you're close enough to Mt Baker, among others. Once I attempt a hand lettering job though, I'm afraid I won't be invited back.

Come on up for another amazing day at Marble Mountain!
Official training for the Freestyle World Championships is on again today in all events, Moguls, Aerials & Half Pipe.
Opening Ceremonies take place tonight(7 pm) with a torch light parade as well.
Competition starts on Friday (check the events calendar for times). Plan to come to Marble Mountain and catch the excitement!
You're killing me. The only way I endure what I'm missing, is not thinking about it. I checked the other 2 links, but only found a few comments under "sports" headings. but the "cool" pics of Marble Mountain are stoking the old fire.
See ya Friday!
Freestyle skiing includes halfpipe now? I think snowboarding did a lot of good for the world of skiing. IMHO

Please accept my resume to run your EDGE for you. I have a great deal of experience, and I know you and I could work well together. You don't have to pay me much, I'm just tired of the constant negative temperatures and the snow!
I think you will find that there will be many others from Canada applying for your advertised position as well.

Er..um, Let's see the snow report from around Toronto Ted.
(I think Toronto may have superior options for grabbin' a Molson, but I don't think any Newfie's (sp.) gotta worry about being outdone by the city in Skiing options)
