Wanted to get some input about the Shopbot CNC router (mostly for Urethane Foam cutting and MDO). I have a good friend in NJ who has two and is a rep for the company, but I wanted to hear what others (maybe some who have one) thought about their systems.
Thanks

We've had our ShopBot for about a year now and we are pleased with it. The support from the company has been better than any other company I have dealt with. We are using ProfileLab for cutting. We still have not "mastered" the router. It's a learning curve issue that can't be avoided. We are cutting mostly pvc letters and learning about other materials.

This is a probably a general router question but, what type of temperature/humidity environment are best suited for a router. Could I put one out in my woodworking shop where the humidity maxes out and the temperature approaches 100°F in the summertime or does it need to be in an air-conditioned room?

i don't think humidity and 100 plus degree temps would be good for it...my is run off a computer that has to be close by...and we know how much computers hate drastic change... mine is in my heated garage..in the summer it stays fairly cool.
