Hello!
I'm a first-timer so be gentle.

We have a multicam 50x100 table and I just received a file that is 63x126 and another that is 61x113.5. Both signs are loaded with text so I really apprehesive about pinning it together, plus I'll have to pin it in at least (3) pieces.
Am I over my head?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mike

I have a MultiCam table but rarely use it for wood routing. I got it with a tangential knive for cutting Diamond Grade sheeting.

Try the link at the bottom. Join the MultiCam users club. I'm sure you'll get answers to any questions that come up about your table.

You may be in over your head. Without seeing the file its hard to say but you are definately going to have to do some careful planning and paneling if the job allows for some creative flexibility.

Another thing. How expensive is the material you will be experimenting on? Is the price of the project enough to cover an major mistakes? Don't leave yourself to short.

I have a 60"x120" table so it would'nt be a problem for me I dont think. Maybe this is something we can work together on but I would need more information before I could say anything with absolute certainty.

But go to the multicam club site and see if theres something there about it.

I have had to prepare multiple files for a big sign, (my record is 18 files for a 4x12' sign)

I put a fence down the side of the router so I can slide the sign down and rout the next section.

If you are unsure of your technique, rout a practice piece into blue styrofoam insulation.
