We REALLY miss you here! Who else is going to get lost with me tonight and drive all over Long Beach!?!?!?! LOL!
I'm back at my hotel, waiting for a call from them to see where they're going to dinner. Patrick's got his accordian so we're all set for late-night entertainment. :-)
I'll post more pics tomorrow. I got a good one of Rick Sacks and my husband.
Guess who's here!? Bill Riedel came all the way from New Jersey. Cool, huh?

Lola and Sam enjoying Patrick Smith's accordian playing:
Tom Byrne hard at work on his panel:
Bill Riedel:
Awesome panel:
Adrienne, Yes, Don and Mike were there. Nope, Ron didn't make it this year. Too many great people to mention one by one.

I'm enjoying the photos, they rekindle good thoughts for me.
Bill Riedel sightings get better each year! Great seeing Si ... (hey Si, say hi to bird for me)and Kent. I'd enjoy a peek at that photo with Rixax.
I've only been to one Conclave meet ... in 2000. I'll treasure the memories. It was a special time. I'm going to make another one yet, so I'm hoping I'll keep getting the invites.
We managed to find some excitement here this weekend though. Spent some time at Downtown Disney with Dan & Janice Sawatzsky. We mentioned what a shame it was that we were both missing the Conclave. Still, Disney with Dan will put a big smile on anyone's face!
Thanks for posting the pix Kimberly! Nettie

The one with my husband and Rick was kinda dark so I'll post this one instead.
Rixax - Did you make it home safe & sound? How about you Bill Riedel? You're probably still sleeping - must have gotten home in the middle of the night.
Disneyland with Dan? Wow! That would be fun!

We are home safe and sound now after security, baggage and a new parking shuttle system. Had a great time although very hoarse from talking all weekend. Couple of other captions, Rick is in the background at his desk over my right shoulder. Dan Seese and Tom Seibert in the background behind Greg's panel and those are two shots of Greg Heger doing his panel. So great to see Kimberly again and Sam is a joy, especially when I am away from my grandkids.
To everyone else, had a great time, wish you could have been there too. Maybe see you at ISA.

Thanks Kent for the captions! Great to see you too.
I have some good shots of Rick Glawson mid-demonstration - I'll post those in the next round.

Thank you Kimberly, you and your family made the meet very special. The pictures are excellent, memories go just so far, but the pictures bring you right back again. Take special care of Sam, she is a genuine treasure. Al must be smiling down on you with so much pride.
Love, Bill

Even though he wasn't there, it seemed kind of appropriate to see Sam sitting on Rick Glawson's back porch coloring away quietly. Wish I had gotten a picture of that.

The Conclave was greater than advertised...and it was advertised as GREAT!
Gotta meet some folks I'd seen in the mags, old faces that was glad to meet again (that Bill Reidel fella is one of my all time favorite people)...Rick Sacks really exists (and about as nice a character you'll ever wanna meet). Kimberly is way cuter than her picture...but not much bigger than her picture
Learned so much new stuff that is going to effect my work for years to come...glue chipping, all sorts of gold techniques, silvering. Wonderful stuff...and I LOVE wonderful stuff!
I'll be at Si and Marty's home for a few more days...and they've been super hosts. (Course, Si is sittin next to me right now, so what do ya think I'm gonna say)
