Our new website is up and running. Signs in the Pines is a young business that was opened about 8 months ago, and located just west of Lake Tahoe.
Nevada City, California is a town founded during the 1849 Gold Rush. This towm has some very old archiceture. I still see some of the signs that were produced during that era; mostly glass.
The city planners and historical foundation has sign criteria, which says: "All signs have to be made like it was done in the "Ole`days." No Vinyl. No plastic. No lit cans. No neon.
Most of the signs in the area are wooden and hand carved. Alot of the other signs are hand lettered. Lots of gold leaf, and glass glue chipping.
If you would like to see more...Please visit our website.
Thanks --Rich
