While I was here...thought I'd ask about this.
Bought a panel saw sometime back, but it rarely cuts square. Mfgr. swears it's accurate to 1/64th. His/its squaring mechanism doesn't work for me. I've tried cutting-and-adjusting or attaching jigs to square it up with little success.
How about levels against the saw's tube runners relative to the horizontal plane rollers, think that'd work? The adjustment assembly is reliably tight.
It's a "Sawtrax" saw...not the best, but it was a fair deal at the time (new). I'll still have to test cut if I use the level method. Was wondering what others thought. Mfgr. doesn't have much to offer in the way of advice.

i have a sawtrax and i love it...i think it squares easily...you loosened those 4 nuts and took the one screw out and shifted it to the direction you needed put the screw back and it didn't work??? do you have the directions with the diagram?? if not send me your fax and i'll fax over what i have.
