Barb and I dropped into Kelly Sign Co. yesterday. Russ Kelly has been a letterhead Pal for many years, but this was our first opportunity to see his shop. Wow!
Kelly Sign Co. specializes in pub signage. Their clients include most of the major Canadian breweries and highbrow companies like Victoria Secrets.
Russ and his 18 employees get to work on the kind of signage most of us dream about on a daily basis. I'm talking glue chipped and goldleaf glass, carved signage and outstanding display work. We're working on a profile of Russ Kelly that will include lots of photos.
Now for the really big news. Kelly Sign Co. is looking for a few more fulltime employees. These are permanent positions. Russ is looking for experienced signmakers, perhaps someone who has run their own shop and is fed up with the hassle. If you are looking for a change, this may be just what you are looking for.

I'm too thin-skinned for a northern climate, but I met Russ at the Banff meet, and he's a really nice guy with an obvious talent and some great niche markets. This is a great opportunity for you Canadians. Who wouldn't want to work with Victoria's Secret?
