Mike,

Had the same problem. Just did my first sandblast sign, charged $70/sq ft. Maybe kinda high, but he is a bigtime resort developer, and this was my first time. (wanted to cover mess-ups if I could) He didn't blink at the price, (maybe to low?)
Anyway, I did everything myself, from the blasting to the painting. Used signfoam, and one shot paint. Mounting it was a major pain since it was 3'x10'. It took me almost 3 weeks to do though, the next one should be a little easier!! I'm going to post a pic of the finished sign soon, Good Luck!

We are a wholesaler of such products and our square footage cost for 15lb signfoam starts at 32/sq ft...redwood at 42/ sq ft...The pricing is based on 2 color and no fancy borders. I personally would sell them at between 60 and 75...depending on the detail of design and that is without any major design elements included. as for mounting, we have insisted on placing a 1/8" aluminum back on all sign foam panels that are mounted in between posts for stability. Hope that is of help to you.

Ours start at $70 and go up from there depending on logos, ornamentation, excessive wording, inset borders, fancy shapes, pictorials etc.
Sold one a couple of weeks ago for $99.

We've been selling Signfoam and redwood at the same price so far but should probably adjust the price between the two.

I am in the process of making one right now. It does seem to average out somewhere between 65-95.00 per sq. ft. 150.00 minimum. Just depends on how much detail...is there gold leaf? Mine will have handpainted quail....(thanks to Cisco!) I really enjoy making sandblasted signs.

Our price is genarally twice what Robert is charging. $65 and up for HDU and $90+ for redwood. I might have to try your services for that price.

We currently charge $40-60 for single sided and $70-90 for double sided signs depending on the size. All signs blanks are constructed of CAH VG redwood. We do charge extra for graphics and installation depending on the labor involved.
