Katie it's a great start!!!! Really nice , good organization of pages. Now, a few things I noticed... (ahem...) On your links page you need to edit out the "http://www.enter.net.au/~jonsigns/" in order for the links to work. You probably know that, I did the same thing on my site too. Drove me nuts till someone pointed it out. A little fine tuning and you've got a really professional looking site for Jon!! You go girl!!!! Adrienne

Katie, very nice! Layout is clean and pleasing to the eye, navigation is a breeze. A real winner! The only problem I saw was that the pics (especially the logo) were slow loading. I'm on a dsl line, too, so I imagine it's a looonng wait for someone running on a 56k. I had a similar problem with my web store and I ran my pics through JPEG Optimizer to get them to a reasonable size. If you don't have the program, let me know and I'll pass it along or tell you where to download it.

Nice site Katie...and nice signwork as well!!
If I may...and I'm no expert by any stretch...you may want to put your table of contents (shopfronts windows, vehicles...) in the left hand frame so you can access them from any page. Put your best looking sign on your homepage too..it'll look sweet!
Good luck and keep up the great work.

Thanks for all the replies and comments I was aware of the problem with the links, but I was not exactly 'in the mood' to worry about it at the time! I thought of putting that stuff in the left hand frame, I may put a drop down menu there with the different parts, and put a picture of one of his best works on the main page. I'll work on it more later (as in, well, later today... maybe ) kidding, kidding.... I will, I promise
Thanks for the praise there Steve... I'm getting there And Ian.... Do I forgive you??? Of course!!! No problems, I wasn't transferring documents at the time, so it didn't stuff anything up at all.
Well, I'll see what I can do to improve on it, I found that the pics loaded fairly quickly when it was up, as did some other people... I don't know... I'll check it out... And already the hits counter is at 178!!! Thanks guys! From Katie

You can make signs with computers and vinyl or you can use a brush and paint.
You can make websites with some pretty neat WYSIWG programes and other web building tools.
I believe this site was built with that most sophisticated, extremely expensive, top of the line, professional executive level web site creation programe:-
Windows NOTEPAD.
Congratulations Katie, a job really well done!!! By the way when can I have my book on how to write HTML code back? Just joking, but it would have to have been one of the best $10 ever spent.

OK, true to my word, I have fixed up the links, have the list of signage down the left hand frame, and got a good pic on the front page, as well as reducing the size of the jonsigns logo dramatically... I actually wasn't aware that I saved it at such high resolution... I didn't mean to... so, how does it look now??? Anything else you think that may need to be improved at all???? Thanks for all the comments so far
