I got a call 'early' this morning. It was the landlady.
She noticed a 'bit' of water in the basement and some in her drycleaning business. She came into my shop.
Guess I was the "lucky" one! (NOT!!!)
Water tank in one of the upstairs apartments broke!
I had just about got everything wet-vac-ed, started putting away what I'd salvaged when they began removing the tank. This caused the second , though smaller, downpour.
I guess it could've been worse,it can 'always' be worse.Luckily it's a slow time here and didn't ruin a whole lot of work in progess.
I managed to rid myself of a lot of excess papers, Spring cleaning should be done by the end of the day, since work isn't happening, now if I could only read what is on all those inventory sheets! That crumbly ceiling tile stuff sure is messy and sticks to everything!

When I had my shop the roof leaked and ruined a bunch of decals and my fax machine. The landlord replaced the fax and gave me a couple months free rent.
Hope you get all your spring cleaning done soon!

Damn Glen, that sure is one BIG WATER HEATER you have to do that much damage! On the serious side, sorry to see what happened to your shop at that time...
