I have pictures of about 20 finished panels. Most of those, I believe have been shipped or are at least ready to be shipped.
I'm prepared to take some heat for this but I have mentioned to a few people that if their panel isn't ready to be shipped by the deadline, not to worry. This is supposed to be something fun to do and I don't want people feeling any pressure to make the deadline. If it takes longer to finish them, it's takes a little longer, no big deal. It's going to take a while to get the website put together anyway.
I abandoned my original project on the weekend and have started fresh with a completely different concept. It's something I've never done before but I'm pretty sure it will turn out OK.
I've got a new partner in crime. This weekend I was at my buddy Rob Carney's place ( see this post ) working on our panels and talking about the next Panel Swap. We've come up with an idea that we think will go over really well.

I was counting on deadline pressure to make me get on with it. Just when I felt enough pressure existed today to get busy & barely be able to ship by end of January, I read this post. Oh well, guess I'll just go to the beach
I dragged the box inside the house and didnt even take the time to remove my heavy coat or anything, I sweat my a$$ off unpackaging my panel, and once it was opened first thing I did besides glean was to search for a spot in my living room to hang it.
Thanks a million Mark Yearwood, its awesome

Okay I know I haven't been on this board in a while, but I did put my nose to the grindstone and my panel will be done on Wednesday the 29th and shipped on Friday. I had a tough time thinking of what to do since I am not a sign painter so I figured I'd do what I'm best at and that is straight line pinstriping. I counted the number of straight lines on my panel tonight it's now up to 278 straight lines on a 12x24 panel. One small pictorial to finish and my receipient will receive an interesting panel, to say the least!
Goodnight to all,
