I like ebay as much as anybody else but tonight I found one of my suppliers selling vinyl cheaper at auction than they do to me.I know there is not alot I can do about it but it does piss me off a little. I did find a few good deals. If you are interested search sign vinyl. There is a good roland plotter for about $600.00..

Robert,
That's pretty cheesey on their part and I'd have to tell them so. If they didn't sell to me as cheap or cheaper than than do on Ebay I'd quit doing business with them. If they don't need your business bad enough to pass on the savings to you then, if it was me, I'd tell everyone I know that uses them to protest!! I think if you mention it to them they might see your point. A price anywhere should be the price you pay. Ebay or not!!
Hope you guys are doing good. Tell everyone I said hello.
See ya,

Did you talk to them ?

Several of us once comfronted one of our suppliers and now they only sell to sign shops, where at one time they sold to anyone for the same price.

I also know of friends that called a supplier that was selling a plotter on ebay and offered that price and they sold it to him.

I also know a tool supplier that advertised lowest prices on Makita tools in national magazines and had an 800 number. If they were caled on the local number they gave a higher price.

Bust 'em on the game!

There are no laws against doing this as far as I know. If you want to sell a sign to a friend or a Church or someone, cheaper than to large business, do you want to be told you cant do it? Why not take advantage of eBay and buy it there then?
