A first grade teacher in Tampa explains to her class that she is a Bucaneer fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Bucaneer fans.
Everyone in the class raises their hand, except one little girl. The teacher looks at the girl with surprise and says, "Janie, why didn't you raise your hand?"
"Because I'm not a Bucaneer fan," she replied.
The teacher, still shocked, asked, "Well, if you are not a Bucaneer fan, then who are you a fan of?"
"I am a Raiders fan, and proud of it," Janie replied.
The teacher could not believe her ears. "Janie, you live in Tampa Bay ... why are you a Raiders fan?"
"Because my Mom is a Raders fan, and my Dad is a Raiders fan, so I'm a Raiders fan too!"
"Well," said the teacher in an obviously annoyed tone, "that is no reason for you to be a Raiders fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all of the time. What if your Mom was a moron and your Dad was a moron, what would you be then?"
"Then," Janie smiled, "we'd be Bucaneer fans."

Sure hope Lamonica don't get hurt again, and Ol Georgie Blanda kicks em through the uprights Sunday.....!! But Stabler seems to be comin right along as a backup if things get rough........... I think !!

Sorry Raidernation, on Sunday you can join Eagle fan in the crying room. The good pirates beat the bad pirates. The only West coast for football is on the Gulf of Mexico. California is like granola, what ain't fruits and nuts, is flakes. This is quoting Gallagher, who is from Tampa.

I was born and raised just outside Buffalo till I graduated high school in the early 70s. The Bills stunk the whole time. I then lived 20 years in St.Pete, Florida, before there even were any Bucs... and when they came, they stunk. I moved to Massachusetts and had a new home team, the New England Patriots, who shocked everybody and me the most by winning the superbowl last year. Obviously my luck has changed, and I have a theory; things are catching up to where they should be. If my hypothesis is correct, the space/time continum is now in a backward spiral to correct it's past malfeasance. Buccaneers will take this, and the Bills will follow suit next year. After that I suppose teams from my former lifetimes will have to win also. (Was I even from earth in my former lives?). But this is only a theory. Go Pats, I mean Bucs, I mean Bills! Go Venutians, Go Plutans, Go Neptans! Now where is my mediction?
