I'm in the process of buying an older Camm 1 from a friend and I'd like to send files from CorelDraw. Is CoCut the solution? The last plotter that I bought was a SuperSprint, so I'm a little out of the tech loop.

CoCut will indeed support your CAMM-1, and your SuperSprint. It work from within CorelDRAW versions 6 thru 11, and gives you a lot of really nice controls such as cut-by-color, tiling of over-sized images, and easy-weed borders.
For information or to purchase CoCut online, please visit our website:

I got CoCut with my Summa system a couple of years ago and although I did not like it at first (Its a little "clunky" in its format)It works very well. Fast, reliable, what else could you want?

Hi Terry...If you are using Corel and have bought an "older" Camm1, I am assuming that you are working on a tight budget. If so, skip Co-Cut and just cut directly from Corel. If you let me know the model of Camm1, your operating system and the version of Corel I can guide you through the setup easily.

however, once you try cocut and sample its power weed feature, you will wonder how yu got along before. This feature itself is a super time saver.
All you have to do is try weeeding smaller letters once and you will see just how good it is to have an advanced tool such as power weed.
Larger letters and graphics weed almost as fast as you can lift the scraps away.
Also, Cocut will allow you to use illustrator as a sign making program too. now you will have two programs.
Then later if you find freehand this too will work with cocut.
And more, the money saved in time and agravation and wasted material will more than pay for itself in a very short time.
I could go on and on... but i think you get teh picture..

with a roland, you can cut from most any graphics type program like, ARTS &LETTERS EXPRESS, FREEHAND, ILLISTRATOR, CANVAS, COREL, XARA, heck ive even cut from COREL PRINT. as long as your connecteed to printer port, and make the line of the object as thin as posible.
