Here's what it looks like out my front door in Fergus, Ontario this afternoon. I'm ready for Florida, but I hear there are actually people in Letterville that like this sort of weather. What's it look like outside your front door today?

Nothing like that! My daughter thinks she wants snow though.
Today, across the highway in front of the shop is nothing but tall, green pine trees under a dreary, blue-grey sky. But lately the sunsets have been the most awesome, glorious, brushstrokes of purple, pink, magenta, lavender, and mauve you've ever seen..

I like the white stuff here better than the white stuff in Fergus Steve!!!
We are off to Isla Mujeres for two days, via Cancun, on Wednesday morning.
For those expressed an interest in this area of Mexico..I am working on a webpage but it tough finding time!!! Need a day of rain I guess.

That pic is beautiful Steve. Thanks, I am one of the snow lovers & you captured the best of what I remember. I saw a little snow in Chicago last month, but only on the ground. That looks like where I want to be!
I'm sure I could show off with pics from the beach a mile down the road, but this is my front door. At least I have 1 little palm tree to look at & the slopes of Haleakala off in the distance often look incredible at sunset.
Oh, & here's my door at home...

I don't have a pic handy (even with my new digital camera) but I did get to spend the day outside away from my drawing board. It was warm and sunny... just about perfect for winter here.
But a week from today its gonna be even better... we'll be in Florida too.

Heh Steve, I bet you will find it hard to believe but up here in NORTHwestern Ontario we haven't had ANY snow yet. Last 3 out of 5 years it has missed us most of the time, but the COLD is now coming your way!

Steve that is a cool looking house you have. Today in Seattle it was partly sunny in the morning...which I lucked out and got my MDO in the shop before it started to pour. At around 4:00 I put out my sign and went for coffee with a friend!

That's the home across the street Cheryl. It is a beauty, twice as big as any other house on our street. A lawyer lived there for years and I think his daughter moved in after his death. It's a shame, or maybe a sign of the times, but we don't even know our neighbours.
This is a great opportunity to go over and take a photo of our house looking out their front door. Maybe they'll invite me in for cookies or something.

i really like the veiw from your door steve! i have never in my life had the joy of a white xmas or for that matter seen THAT much snow in one place
the shots from my part of the world are a bit less picturesque <- is that how ya spell it?
the workmen are here today starting work on the new drive way so its a bit messy out there but i did my best
the view from my front door looks like this...
you can see that i need to do a little midnight triming... i can just see the water thru the trees, i love trees but in this case 2 must decide to move of their own accord or die so that i can see the ocean
the view from my favorite room in the house is this one...
this is the BBQ/eating room on the side of the house, everyone in Qld cooks outdoors so why not make it pretty
veiw into the same room
the front of my house where they are working
the big windows will be the walls for the front room when we finish closing it in this room is the most IMPORTANT one cause it is going to be where my office and the pool table go!
if i thought moving was fun (not) renovating is even more fun
this is the view from the other side of the bay back to my house
all this and i still live in a beige house! those of you who know me know that can't last when the dust settles the colours will come out and then we'll be having fun!!!
cheers gail
