Its always so hard to quote installations for another sign company, wouldnt you say! since they of course they need to mark it up to sell it.

What would would be a fair price?. I know my area, travel and time take inconsideration. To install "V" shape 4'x8' signs on 3 post. Quanity of 8.. Thats 24 holes and 16 signs (for those who arent still hungover) to mount, level etc. I will be charging them a trip charge...for ea trip if needed

Just trying to get an idea...

You can give an estimate but with the caviate that it could change drastically depending on the soild conditions, etc. Three of the signs might be a breeze, another you could hit dead pan or solid rock then you are spending hours trying to find another "close" location or going through all sorts of trouble with machines (mechanical driller), or breaking old fashioned post hold diggers. I know this doesn't answer your question but give them a $75/hole 3 foot deep(2000 price guide) + commute time. They don't have to mark it up to much as you are doing all the work. My 2 cents
