I, as I'm sure a lot of are, am used to a job coming back to be repeated the day after you toss out the old information

We just had one come back after 40 years ... haha ... no really

Church donor plaques ... 20x28 brass plaques each with scroll border, headings, and 3-400 names. (all 1/8" raised serif lettering)(acid etched?)
Seems we did these in 1960 ... then sometime in the 80's they had more made somewhere else of the etched plastic slide in type.
Now this year they are refinishing the whole church (more donors)... and happened to open the frames on the old brass signs ... and there was our sticker, name in book ... now were re-doing the pastic ones too (re-doing art and farming out file ... probably not they way they were originaly done, haha)

We had a customer come back after 20 years and said I would like you to letter this truck just like the last one. Now how many of you can remember exactly how you did a job 20 years ago. It is like he thought you had nothing to do but wait for him to come back. The thousands of jobs done in the meantime make it kind of hard to remember.

hmmm... 20 years ago...

I think back then I was still in pre-school.. =) I can only remember crying when my mom dropped me off on the first day and left me there. Pretty traumatic moment, prolly why I still remember it.. hahaha

But shoot.. I cant remember any jobs I did a month ago, let alone a number of years.. hehehe.
