Thanks for bringing me back from the dead Steve n Barb. Thanks for the queries Terry, Terry ,Suelynn and Janette
After a recent trip to China I reconsidered my options and have finally taken the big step by starting a Design studio called "Boiler Room" along with a good friend of mine in the I.T. business.
My strongest ability is in the creative aspect of design, there is a void in this area, most business's go south to Brisbane for corporate design, marketing and promotional material.
Signs are great, but 28 years is enough, i was getting crusty, just joining the dots, time for a new challenge.
By doing something quite different I hope to rekindle my love for painting by doing more on canvas and with airbrush. I want my work hanging in my own home for a change, where it will be more appreciated as art, not just signs. When I paint because I want to not because I have to.
I will check in occasionally, as we get settled in the new biz I will have more time to check in here.
Regards
Rob Clark

Hey gang, What'd I miss? Thanks to Terry, Steve and Barb for keeping me in mind.
I've had a huge and almost inconceivable number of catastrophic setbacks in my life over the past year ranging from the personal, to the financial, to the removal of internet access at my job. I'm not generaly the sort of person who airs the specifics such things in a public forum, thus my absence.
However, things are slowly beginning to settle down and life is beginning to return to some level of normalcy, so I ought to be around more often. I'm also the proud owner of a new home, which will give me space to engage in some persuits of which I have been unable to until now.
Thanks espescialy to all of you who inquired about my well being privately. See you on the boards !

In the "while were at it" department, where's the teen-aged "sign-wanna-be" from down under? Besides gone to "uni" I would have thought to still hear from her enough to remember her name. Maybe my own old age is to blame there, but anyway, miss her *grin*'s

Her name is Katie and her smile is absolutely astounding. It is also sorely missed. Such a sweet smile it is. Please jump in and give us a G'Day. Fred
