I was really impressed with Robert Thomas's woodgraining that he learned from Shep. So Shep and I have talked and he is willing to come to my shop in Michigan and give a class. If we can get enough people to do it, the class will be Sat., May 17th, from 9:00 to 4:00 or so with a one hour break for lunch. Cost will be $350 and Shep will furnish all the materials. Shep would like 1/2 dn to reserve a place. Classes will be at least 10 people - no more than 14. If there is more that want to sign up, we can do another class on Sun.

There is a Fairfield Inn one block from my shop and another hotel (I think Best Western) about 2 blocks away. I will check into rates on rooms if someone wanted to come in on Fri. All motels and food (fast or sit down) are within walking distance. I also have room to camp at my place if someone wanted to-and don't mind the horses.

All you need to bring is an item to woodgrain - like car parts, metal trays, etc. If you fly in, and can't carry something like that, I can furnish something to work on. I had thought for my item that I might do PVC pipe or galv. flue pipe to make it look like a wooden column.

For any other info, you can contact Shep or myself.
