Try to reduce my intake of medications (pills) thru proper diet and lots of excercise. ( up to 2 miles a day currently) And JOE that does NOT mean I am going to turn into a veggie man!!!! LOL

Lose 8lbs (it's hard when you're married to a chef), get organized (I'm a clutterbug), exercise (been saying that for 20 years.
I'm about 90% sure that we'll be moving someplace in 2003 so I'd like to get rid of as much stuff as possible before it has to be packed up again. I'm still slowly but surely making my way through everything I brought back from my father's place in NJ. For a family who moves as much as we do (every 18 months or so) we have a lot of stuff!

You just hit the nail on the head!!! I have lists ALL OVER the place. My grandmother and my father were the same way. When I cleaned out my dad's house, it was FULL of lists. :-)

Learn to cook for hubby's arthritic condition now that he's willing to finally change his diet and scrap the meds! I'm with you Dave! Meds is baaaad, they do baaaad things when used long term.
Finish the trimwork painting on the outside of our home. Will have to hire to get the high stuff done.
Start riding my horse periodically. Took Cody for a lead ride the other day and he loved it.
Ensure business is steady, but paced so I'm not crazy busy. I need my mom&son time.
Go on more dates with hubby. Hockey game scheduled in March! Canucks and Toronto. Here I come, popcorn!

I'm gonna do a low-carb experiment. I did that 3 years ago & lost 10 lbs in a month. It was an experiment designed to give me a reference point as to what losing weight is like.
I had never worried about that my whole life, but when I met my wife 7 years ago, I started eating lots of good food & gradually quite my heavy toking habit. The result was my weight jumpin up from 160 to 190lbs. (Starting this business factored in somehow I'm sure... less surfing etc.) For a 6' guy 190's not too bad, but it made me want to finally clue in to what was required to lose weight in case I ever needed to know. I will of course try to include an increase in physical activity as well.
My more immediate goals are to back-up all computer files, & reformat all 3 hard drives on my 3 machines. (My oldest, a Pentium 233 is being gutted & rebuilt into a speed demon with 1024 megs of ram)
Also, every year I clean out my file cabinets, because nothing fits in them for the last month or 2 & I need to get all my financial records bound up into a 2002 box to join the others in the attic. Plus all my client files will be weeded through & many non-repeat customer files will be consolidated into larger "misc" files &/or circular filed.
As for resolutions:
I will raise my prices
I will focus on upselling to do better designs
I will redesign my showroom (to reduce client design input while breathing down my neck in front of my computer) I've put up with that way too long

I'm right there with y'all on the organization and time management stuff. I tried something a couple'a years ago and then kinda 'fell off the wagon' (I became less accountable due to being disconnected...) But I was on a list-serv ran by the "flylady" (Her real name is Marla Cilley) She's now written a book called "Sink Reflections" She still runs the board/list-serv but it's helped SO MANY people that it's grown.(the web address is flylady.net) I plan to get back on her program and really incorporate a better routine in my life. The key to this (I now know)is ACCOUNTABILITY. I plan to establish more of that in my life too. And, I really see alot of benefit in the power of agreement...so I want to write a family mission statement with my kids real soon. All this stuff will effect my business too, which I'm working on re-establishing right now. I belive this will be the year of bigger, better and MORE connections...

I'm right in there with Amy and Mike, but I'm not panicing yet. Lots of time...right?
I wanna be more organized too, like everybody else. I guess this would be a good time to post some good tips on keeping organized. But how do you stay that way?

I'm going to get as comfortable with PhotoShop as I am with Illustrator,...which includes using that dang Wacom tablet also. Also going to backup this hard drive enough to take the plunge and load Mac OS X! The other major thing is raising prices. I seem to be in an 80's pricing warp. I should walk around some car lots and keep saying to myself, "just like this, just like this." Maybe it will sink in.
