Yea Glenn it's called beans for breakfast! Roy I have an indoor room that's about 2/3 finished but I never seem to get the time to finish it. Would love to see some pics of yours.

THAT'S why I have a self enclosed booth!! My daughter (Chatti) just walked by and saw this and she said that sandblasting should be seasonal according to the current weather conditions! I do agree, don't you??

I'm surprised that in such a close group of houses that you can get away with making that much noise and dust without complaints. Many communities have environmental standards that would prohibit such activity.
We use a rather funky booth that is big enough to drive a big truck into and unload stuff. There is a roof so we can work in the weather, however, when it's rainy there is so much moisture that even with a series of traps, the sand still clots.

John I hardily agree. Sandblasting, at least out doors should be seasonal. The real tricky part is keeping the mask on a 10F or so. Nothing wants to stick well at those temps.
For My friend Rick you make a good point. But's thats why I live and work in Wyoming and not Cali! LOL. So far we have been lucky but we reconize the potential for problems which is why we are working on moving our blasting inside. Hopefully after the New Year I'll get some time to finish our indoor booth. It will still be supplied by air from our Schramm Compressor which will still live outside. We are switching from silica to a material called Crystalgrit. Let you know how it works out. Also the houses you see are not really as close as they appear and I am facing a large empty field. As the prevailing wind here comes from my back. Thanks all for viewing my little corner of the sign world. Happy New Year!!!
