We were there and used our company credit card once at a Vendors booth. Now we are getting notices of a women Karen Jones in Atlantic City(we even have the address)trying to buy stuff on QVC and a nature food doctor or something like that.I haven't contacted the vendor yet but I just want anyone that used their cards to look carefully or call to see if they have had any weird purchases on it. We have notified the legal department at our credit card company and they are investigating.

Just to make things clear, we are not blaming the vendor we are just saying that this happened after we were at the show and that was the only place we used it. I talked to the vendor today and they are going to try and see if there is some one by that name or address that works in the convention center. They are working with us to see what has happened.

i recently had my identity stolen and the scankball was my local chinese restaurant...one of the other people who got ripped off was the detective working on my case...doooh! are they in trouble or what! apparently it's the kid of the restaurant owner...they take your c/c and swipe it thru another machine and that steals your magnetic strip...then they make their own cards...gotta love technology.

While the SignGold booth was the only place you purchased anything with your credit card...some other considerations may be:

Did you use it to MAKE, not necesarily pay for, any hotel reservations?

Did you use it in the A.C, Parking Garage?

Use it as a debit card at any gas stations, restaurants or pay phones?

These are just a few possibilities. On behalf of SignGold, we surely will do whatever we can to help you solve this problem. Personally, I wish to THANK YOU whole-heartedly for your second post clarifying your position, and making the note that you don't blame us. I know this has never happened before, and we will try to take steps to insure that it never does happen, knowing the range of possibilities that exist for unscrupulous people to use your credit card number without your consent. Both Artie and myself will discuss with the company, ways in which we ensure this potential problem can be eliminated from our process, although it seems the dishonest people of the world get more clever by the hour. Knowing that only the two of us had posession of the Starter Kit order forms, I'm still inclined to believe it was through some other avenue that this person obtained your account number, but we will do what we can to help insure that your experience with both the U.S.S.C. show, as well as with SignGold, remains a positive one.

Thank You for your fairness in addressing this manner.

Regards,
Brian "The Brush" Briskie
