Hi,

Still a really impressive piece of work, don't you think? I used time how long it took to load in the old 386 and 486 days. Seem to remember it took about 35 seconds.

It's on it's way.

Hi Joe,

Like John, I just couldn't resist pulling your chain but after trying to read my last post realize that you and Bob could be offended by what I intended as satire. I apologize to you both but especially to Bob. He's never tried to get my goat & I had no reason to pick on him.

I'm gonna send myself to my room now for a richly deserved time-out. [Smile]

I have Print Artist and have never been able to figure out how to use the art in my sign program. When I try, I get nothing. I use Vinylmaster Pro.
I will be very grateful for anyone's assistance.
Thank you.

bill thats what is so great about print artist.....you open PA, PICK graphic, put on the page, hit COPY(under edit),i dont have vmpro, but i know this works in corel. open corel and do a PASTE and PA graphic is now a VECTOR in corel. some need a lot of cleaning up, other none. also PA has in its print options a COLORING BOOK mode, it will print you a line drawing....then you can scan it and then vectorize!!!! the program is great when you get someone who asks for a graphic of something non discript...like dog, cat, mouse, clown etc......i go to PA, open it type in what iam looking for and it gives me a bunch of choices. also PA(older versions, i got 6 and it will do this)will grab the graphics from older versions of PRINT SHOP!!!!! so you can use those in other programs.
in fact when i 1st got into computer/signs....i had the original program they made, was called INSTANT ARTIST V 1.0. i paint and mostly did patterns with PA & EPSON wide carriage printer. i did one sign with PA and printer that was 36 inches tall and 30 foot long!!!!!!!! yea lot of program for the price!!!!!

Bill,
I only have Print Artist version 3.0 but I can "cut" in PA and "paste" it directly into Sign Wizard. In Vinylmaster Pro you must select "paste from clipboard" instead of "paste". Will that help?

Old Paint beat me to it!
What version do you have Joe? I have a new version orderd.
