We went up both Friday and Saturday.
Took a few seminars but really enjoyed the large format vehicle workshop.
Controltac is awesome...Gotta have some.Meet some great people.I really liked how the successful ones are so interested in sharing there knowledge.Maybe that is why they are where they are:)

We had a great time. I thought that I knew alot about logo design but I did pick up quite a few tips and ideas. Also the instructor pointed out some things that I had never thought about.

My husband signed up for the beginner airbrushing workshop and enjoyed it so much that is did the next airbrushng class. I did Joe's carving - which was great.

I'd like to know how come the Letterhead booth was empty? I was looking forward to being able to buy some old Letterhead mags.

Welll....
I was working AND playing, so I got there Wednsday morning to set-up the SignGold booth, kiss hands and shake babies, etc. and then spent the weekend using my "breaks" from the booth playing in the bullpen. Got the chance to do TWO, count'em...2 panel jams, which was a treat,(uhhh...outside of having ta follow Dave Jeffery in line...try ta add something to that virus work..hehehe, kiddin' homey)

Met lotsa new, wonderful people, and spent some great times after the show with old friends. Bruce Gough, hats off to you my friend for organizing the whole Boys and Girls club gig, nice job.
USSC just does a tremedous job with this show, and I look forward to it every year. Those of you that aren't USSC members, should really look into it.

All of you that I shared time with those 5 days, thanks, happy holidays, and see ya all soon.

Thanks

We had a BLAST at the AC show as usual. While Mike Fredericks(Unique Signs)and myself set up our booth,I received a phone call from my wfe, Linda, teling us that we had at least 6" of snow home(about 150 miles N. of AC.). We decided that Mike & me would open the booth on Thurs. nite, and Linda & our son Justin would drive down on Friday. We were surprised at how many people actually attended the show on Thurs. night. I think this shows that you can't keep people away from a great event. Our hats off to all the USSC members & staff for a great job.
It was great seeing everyone again & meeting new friends.
We also had a great time playing "Pictionary" with Brian,AJ,Dave & all the other "wacky" sign artists on Sat. evening.
"Happy Holidays" to all!

Spent Friday and Saturday in the Bull Pen lettering and painting. This is the place to meet old friends and new ones too. Totally ignored the trade show booths. I leave that up to my son, daughter and daughter in law.

Mr J's pictionary was a great way to wind up the week end, this was after the show. Tramp warner did an exceptional job with his cartoons.
