I just got my December issue of "SIGN Business" magazine, the 2002 Portfolio Issue.

SO MUCH EYE CANDY!!!! I have my favorites out of the ones shown but I will get to that later.

Two names I noticed amongs the honories are Rob Estes from Paducah,Ky and Marty Happy from Regina, SK,Canada. Rob recieved a $th place for his shop sign and also an Honorable Mention, and Marty too got an Honorable Mention for his "ChocoLate Moose" sign.

A big pat on the back to not only these two sign artist, but along with everyone else, GREAT WORK!!!

I got to meet Rob not too long agoat Don's meet and he is a really great person to go along with his many talants. Marty, I have not had the pleasure of meeting( That I know of, I have been to a lot of meets and don't remember everyone, must be that "Halfhiemers") but I am sure from his post's here that he is one great guy also.

My favorite (if I was a Judge) would have been a sign by Wade Crane and Eric Helmes from Peninsula Sign in Virginia Beach, Va., I have always liked signs with Glass Blocks and water elements and this one is a great example of the combination.
I checked thier web site, but they do not at this time have any photo's posted from this issue. Hopefully soon they will here is a link
SIGN Business Mag

If they don't maybe some of the creators of the signs will post them here or on our portfolio table. I could check with the magazine and get thier permission to scan some of the pictures
and post them here. Don't know if it possible, but I would be willing to check it out and do the scans, but I would need someplace to host the pictures so everyone can enjoy this eye candy.

Troy,

I saw that Chocolate Moose sign, and it is a beauty. Marty does some really nice work.

Congratulations Marty!

I saw that also Troy!

Nice job guys. Lookin' good.

I was glad I got that magazine yesterday because it has lots of Eye Candy to show a potentially new customer today, proving not all signs are vinyl and flat!!

Gee..... Thanks all! I was blissfully unaware until my magazine arrived this morning. I've been 'hovering' ever since!!!!

Guess I should check into here more often to be tipped off. Been so busy and spent a lot of time at Agribition last week!
