I have loaded fonts that do not show in the CorelDraw 9 dropdown. I tried reloading the fonts and that doesn't seem to help. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated......

While Windows 9X will recognize between 1000 and 1500 fonts, depending on the lenght of the file names, Corel has a recommended maximum number of 500. Check links below.

Have you installed the font using My computer - control panel - fonts?

Some types of fonts won't show up. TT1, O for open and Adobe will on this computor which hosts Windows XP. I have had less problem with fonts as operating systems have generated. Earlier operating systems did that to me all the time. Perhaps the type that you installed is one you can't use. Just a thought. Jack

Check out the new SignCraft magazine. Chuck Davis did a detailed article on this topic. I would bet the article will solve your font problems.
Good luck, Mike Jackson

I was gonna say what Dave already said about checking to see if they are enabled. I don't have version 9, but 7 & 8 have it similarly listed in the Tools menu heading. The path is basically: Tools - Options - Font (or) Text - Font List Contents. Then you'll find checkbox options for truetype & type1 fonts. Also there you should find a checkbox for showing samples in the list.
You didn't say whether they are Truetype or Type1. If they are Type1 then you may need a program like Adobe Type Manager for them to work.
