How do you....or can you... convert a wps file (Microsoft Works Word Processor)to a jpeg,gif or tiff file ??????? Or any thing that will open in Adobe Photo Shop 6 or Flexi Pro or Corel 8....
I have transfered it to a "Floppy" but cannot open it unless it is converted to something other than the wps file. Any help would be appreciated. Shep'

Shep I'm not sure about the file conversion but if it is just text you could save it as a .doc file or txt file ,...at which point you may be able to copy and paste it into one of your graphics programs,.. if not email it to me and I will see what I can do with it here,....

Hiya Shep, Ya should be able to copy from works and paste as new object (or whatever) into Photoshop. Chances are the file is a windows meta file. If you have works, you should be able to find the graphic on Microsofts web site through the clip gallery and save it in its original format. Since we're on this whole bitmap thing again...you could just do a screen capture and paste into any bitmap editor. The resolution may be a bit low if going for quality print...just a thought.
