I'm looking into buying a new airbrush I currently use a Paasche for simple fades it's not much good for anything else. I want to get more into auto graphics. I've been looking at a couple of Iwata's the hp-c and the top of the line cm-b wich costs twice as much has anyone used these airbrushes should I get the top of the line model or the bargain?

I've tried several makes of airbrushes and I use the Paasche VL (dual action a must). They are all good but the Paasche is just more comfortable in my hand. It's a matter of personal preference.
The only problem I have is that nobody stocks the paasche parts in my area. The availability of needles and tips might be a factor in making your decision.

Hey Richard,
I've always used the paasche vl3 and can do almost anything that the new airbrushes do and the paasche is a workhorse and is a lot easier to maintain than all the rest. With the airbrush it is like most other tools it is what you get used to. the iwata hpc will hold a finer line longer but other than that I can achieve most anything with the paasche that ya can with the others ..I do use the iwata for fine line for this reason .but i have 26 paasches and would not use anything else as my main airbrush....just don't get fooled into thinking the new airbrush will make ya better ..practice will achieve this .........T

I've switched from the Paasche VL to the Millenium. Basicaly the same brush, except the Millenium is much narrower, and lighter. That makes a big difference when your airbrushing all day.
