welp im seeing bascially who out there can talk with me about vinyl pricing on what they are paying and what the amount of material there shop is using ... im a smaller shop that buys HUGE amounts of vinyl and seems that the prices keep increasing for material the last 18 months. Ive been rasing the prices to keep up with the price increase but it seems that im the only one in my area who keeps raising my prices but every one else is staying the same ... im lookin for a new supplier who has a good sales staff and good knowledge .. for example i was paying 325.19 for a 24x50 of flourscent avery the thin mill vinyl now the same vinyl im paying 421. and some change ... can any one please help me cause its to the point im starting to stuggle a lot because of this ... email me or post here thank u very much in advance matt

you could also surf over to Ameriban's website (or call them at 800-654-8405 --for a catalog). they may not be the lowest prices, but they have good prices and are national, so it will at least rule out any local price fluxuations. Their price for 50 yard x 24" Avery Flourescent is $320, plus freight.
Gregory is also a good source to check. (i buy most of my vinyl locally, but i check the others and will occasionally use Ameriban if the job has the extra few days of lead time, and if the price savings is greater than the cost of shipping.)
you might be able to get your suppliers to cut you a better deal, too. or at least ask them why their prices are higher.
as for what the competition is charging... if costs go up and they don't adjust... well, they wont be competing with anything much longer.

i have tried to talk with them and they always say "we'll check into it " about the pricing ... i also get "its just business" ,I use around 1200 yards or more a year of neon type and holo graphic type material b4 i even add up normal use ... thanks for the numbers ill check them out
