Does anyone know how to reach any of the old Walldogs? There are a bunch of them featured in the book "Ghost Signs" by Wm. Stage but there in no way to contact them. Some of the guys mentioned are Tom Cavanaugh, Roger Zimmer,Jim Chicouris, Ed Litwin, Lonnie Tettaton, etc. There is a real interesting section about Harley Warrick who was the last of the Mail Pouch painters. We would like to contact any of them to see if they would be speakers at the Letter-Rip convention we are planning in July in Atlanta, Illinois. Quite a few of these guys are mentioned as being from Chicago. ANY help would be apprec iated!!

I'd try and contact Wm. Stage and see if he knows how to get in touch with any of them. The book was published by Signs of the Times Publications. I'd get in touch with one of the Swormstedt guys who run the Signs of the Times. They will probably know how to get in touch with Mr. Stage.
You might also try Mark Otis...he's quoted several times in the book.
