I know several of you use them, but thought I would post a photo of an average layout for those who want to try. They cost me about a dime each, using 65# cardstock, and refilling my own cartridges on an inkjet. I use Microsoft Publisher for software, but it can be done in something you probably already have. This seems to work very well for me, and I can change the scenery as I choose.

Good timing! Someone just emailed me and asked for a brochure.
What brand/model inkjet do you use? I have an HP 932C and it prints so crooked it looks terrible and the brochure layouts are always wrong for the double sided printing because the bottom margin in so bad on HP's.

Amy, Actually I use an hp 952c. The only thing I see wrong with it is it will not print within 1/2 inch of the edges, but assume most brands are like that. I just design the folder around that problem.Other than that I have zero complaints with it. Actually the best color printout of any in that price range which is about 400.00, (or was a year ago). The crooked printing that I have experienced with it and others, was just me loading it crooked. I now make sure that I set the paper in the tray straight and against the right side. Problem solved.

Epson makes some printers that print full bleed (right to the edge of the paper) for photo printing, you might want to check them out.
You can also prepare your digital files then go to the local Staples, Office Depot, or whatever the big chain in your area is and get laser prints/copies for a pretty reasonable rate.
Or spend 12 cents a sheet and get Full color, full bleed printing on both sides of an 8x11 100# stock with gloss coating and already tri-folded. Of course that's $600 for 5000 prints.
IMO injet prints just dont cut it as far as conveying a professional image, unless you take the time to apply a coating over the print.
There's also dye-sub printing which is still hard to beat for low volume photographic printing.
