I don't seem to have my copy of S.C. yet for this month. Can't wait to see it!
Oh, well....I've got an article coming out in Sign Builder Illustrated in February and one in March and one to write for the April issue.

Wow Nettie! I've admired your work ever since I've joined Letterheads. Joe Rees was the one who told me to keep an eye on you, that one day soon, you would be there. So, what's it like? You're famous now...hehehe! I am so proud of you and Chuck Peterson! Way to go! I'd high-five ya, but you're so far away! Know that everyone I know here...will get to see your article and hear me say...you know those crazy signpeople I chat with all the time?...Well here's one of em...isn't she great?

Right on Nettie - I'm really looking forward to seeing this. Sign Craft take a REALLY LONG TIME to arrive here - I still didn't receive my last copy yet and now the next one is out. I suppose its just another draw back for living out here where the air is fresh and clean

Wouldn't it be wonderful if one of you signpeople could post this one??? pretty please with sugar on it? Not all of us can get our hands on this signcraft now. (for one reason or another) now that would be enlightening to see Nettie's work! Deb

I COULDN'T WAIT for the new mag to arrive, so I went to http://www.signcraft.com/gallery1.htm and took a look for myself. You can see the signs, but not read the associated interview. Also, you can open alot of the articles. Nettie, glad to see you recognised, even without spotty dogs.

Let me add my congratulations too Nettie.Your work is always beautiful. I haven't got my copy yet so I looked at the two samples on the signcraft site and they are superb!
It sure makes me wonder how much that project panel you kindly gave to Shirley at the Bloomington meet is going to be worth in a few years. A "true" Janette Balogh original!
I too, will be showing that issue around to folks I know when it arrives and will proudly say that I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting a talented and wonderful person such as you are.

Darn, everybody said what I was going to say. And it wasn't all that long ago that she hired on as a sign secretary. She went from zero to sixty fast!
What concerns me, though, is that as she gets older she gets prettier. It doesn't seem reasonable. Is she using Smith's Cream in ways heretofore not recommended?
And not only is she talented and articulate, but she has a panel saw! I bet she can cook, too. Ahhh...to be young and single again...

Finally it arrived. I ussually get my SignCraft relatively early, but not this month for some reason.
