Does anyone reconize this font? I thought I knew what it was but I didn't. Do you think it might be a custom one? If you can help I would really appreciate it. It is my first time to post a picture so I hope it works. [Roll Eyes] I can't get the picture to work so I will try to tell you about it. It is the logo for "The National Bank" and the letters are NBB with stricks coming from the letters to the right. The N's stricks are the first to stop, then the first B, and finally the last B. The letters are solid and the stricks do not develop till after the letter is complete. I hope this tells you enough so you can help. Thanks. [Confused]

Cynthia,
I have not idea what a strick is but after a search on the web I found this page:
http://www.nbbank.com//
If this is the correct website for The First National Bank that you are wanting ..the font is True Type Crillee.
Hope this helps!

Cynthia, I'm with Judy on Crillee. As far as the streaks or speed stripes or whatever they are called, I only know of one font that has them and I can't recall the name right now. The font with the speed stripes is a block italic, so unless someone comes up with a better match, you are going to have to re-create the logo.

Just about all big companies have eps's of their logos. It gets back to the post a while back about bitmaps versus vectors. The bankers don't know what to ask for. Maybe they could give you a phone number and let you talk directly to their graphic artist. Vic G

Hey Vic...

Slipstream might be the one you are thinking of.

Have a great one!

Bruce, I think you are right about the font that Vic is thinking about. I have searched all my resources and I can't find the True Type Crillee that I need. Is there somewhere on the net I can get it from? I have checked CorelDraw and it doesn't have it. Is this a special font I need to purchase from a sign shop supplier? I am still a novice at this and I get all my information from this board. Please point me in the right direction. [Confused]

Cynthia,
You can download the Crillee font here:
http://www.fontsearchengine.com/cgi-bin/searchcsv.pl?search=Crillee&method=exact
It costs $22 for one font and around $79 for a whole set. I haven'tfound a FREE download site yet.

Bruce, Slipstream is the one.

Cynthia, this may be the same as Judy, but you can look at both Slipstream and Crillee at the above link. Vic G
