[Frown] I am having such a bad day. Maybe someone is telling me I should not be working on Sunday. Well you have to do what you have to do. I can not find my CorelDraw True font disk and I haven't reloaded all my fonts. Would someone help me with Decorated 35 and streamline? I need these to finish a job and I can't find those disk. I took them on a trip 2 weeks ago and I hope I didn't leave them in the motel. Man I can't afford to replace those but I can't live without it either. I think I remember how to install but I'm not should. I think I need to find my brain too. Thanks. [Wink] [Big Grin]

Forgive me... But I can't resist...if 8 minutes(time from first to second post) constitutes a bad day ?

Let me tell you about the eight minute bad day my partner and I had once. We just came off a week of swing stage woork up about 80 feet on a 30'x120' Pepsi wall...my partner at the time was one of those guys that would rather do everything in one trip rather than make two or three...the concequences of this behavier became apparant when an overloaded 5 gallon bucket tipped as he lowered it over the firewall down to the ground and lost it's load which included two 1 gallon buckets of Chrome yellow paint from about 6 stories up...I heard the commotion and looked up just in time to see the buckets explode on the fire escape then trickle down to the fifth the the fourth then the...well you got the idea...on top of everything else the shop truck was parked directly below the fire escape.

All this took about the same time as your "bad day" but the clean up took hours...with a return trip the next day to paint the firescape black again.

Interesting the difference in perspective the computers have brought us don't you think?

Well anyway ...sorry about your bad "day"... [Smile]

Monte...

Whew, that WAS a bad paint spill! Got to rank that one up in the top ten somewhere.

I know a guy who had a gallon of 104 red kicked off a stage when he was standing on the ground, under it. He never saw it coming, and it hit him upside down right on top of his head. His helper was the one who done it (accidently he said). The poor guy was covered from head to toe in red, and boy was he mad! I don't think he ever got cleaned up after that one. Maybe it was just me, but I swear the guy had a reddish hue all around his head ever since that day.

Years and years later the gut really gets PO'd if anyone tells the story and tries to laugh about it. Sorta lost his sense of humor, I guess... [Wink]

I think this post has become "Paint Spill" story time, thanks to Monte. BTW, good one.

I had just went to the sign supply store (Denco)
and bought two gallons of white One-Shot. I payed for them, and put the two gallons on the front seat floorboard. I turned on the tunes, and air conditioner.

On the way home, some ol`guy broadsided me. Yup, on the passenger side. During impact, the gallons of paint exploded, sending white 1`shot all over the interior of the car. This happened during the summer, and I was dressed accordingly; shorts, and a tank top. Needless to say, I was covered from head to toe. The paint even soaked all the way through to my underwear. I couldn't leave the scene of the accident, so the one`shot dried real fast.

When I got to the hospital, everyone kept asking, "What did you get into?" They wheeled me to radiology, and told me to strip. Even unclothed, I was covered with white. I looked like a naked mime. I hopped up on the X-Ray table, they took their shots, and I was released. Later the next day, the hospital called, and said, "Your X-rays didn't turn out."

It wasn't till later that I figured out what happened? (Botched X-Rays) "Do you know why they didn't come out?"
