I've tried this in several design programs and they all seem to do the same thing. I'm trying to create a simple wave line...with maybe 3 peaks or humps. What would it be called a sinewave? not really high peaks or lows....just gradual hills...sort of a rolling hill pattern.
I'm trying to do it with a line that is say .5" tall x 120" long. Problems is that the line gets distorted. Some areas it retains the .5" and others it sqeezes itself real thin. I'm trying to keep the line the same thickness all the way through the wave.
Any ideas? I have to be doing something wrong here.
Thanks in advance.

Bruce; I was able to create what you was talking about by drawing a line in Adobe Illustrator then stroking it to 36pts.this give you a half inch thick line. Then I went to object/path/outline stroke. It seemed to hold its shape real well. I would assume you could do this with flexi also

Bruce...I n CorelDraw. Draw a straight line. Add nodes where you want the bumps and hollows. Select all and change the line properties to curve. manipulate the line as you wish. Assign a .25" outine to the original line. hit Arrange>convert outline to object. Delete original line.
