As much as I am interested in signs, & clearly willing to spend a good deal of time here in Letterville based on that interest, I still hate un-solicited emails.
I got one today that has someone elses name in it making it appear on the surface as an innocent mistake addressing someone elses email incorrectly. I was just curious though if others are getting this as well:

I thought maybe someone was using this site as a database to mass mail their advertising. If so it is probably a violation of Steve's policy & a chance for nagative publicity if this proves to be the case.
I throw away my share of spam without losing any sleep over it, but just got curious enough on this one to post it.

the one that really P.O. me was the FAX at 3-4 A.M. SUNDAY....from a company in tampa OAI CORP. they have a web site www.oaicorp.com they have a bot fax system..that makes calls and sends faxes to those that answer, if you dont answer it calls you back 3-4 times within 5 min apart. i called them and told them i dont want there DAMN 3 A.M. FAXES!!!!

Yeah that always burned me too. Back when I lived at my shop I got faxes waking me up. I had the fax downstairs in the office so I didn't always hear it, but since its 2 am here when East coast is 8am, lots of faxes arrived while I slept. The phone was in my apartment though & almost everytime I left a message with a supplier, they woke me up before dawn.
