Over the years I've accumulated a four finger bag of gold leaf that I vacuumed off sandblasted signs and such. Maybe an ounce of 23k.
Years ago I read about a system to reclaim it.
Anybody else save thier gold? What do you do with it? Could it be used in sign work?
Cheers

John, Good idea.
I'm thinkin' of knocking out my front teeth and having a gold one placed in the center so it will stand out better, what do you think? [Big Grin]

just for comparrison sake, the street value of four ounces of premium Northern California Green Leaf is actually higher than the current cost of four ounces of Gold.

maybe i should be trying to figure out how to glue THOSE leaves onto cars...
