I am hoping one of you can help me. For over 15 years I painted windows for the holidays, about 5 years ago I finally put the brush down... finally, Im ready again. My problem? 1-Shot poster paints have more than $#@%^! doubled... IF I can even get them. There has to be an alternative product out there which is much more affordable... please someone tell me what it is! I recall years ago a company making a product to compete with 1-Shot... I cant seem to find them or anything else. PLEASE HELP ME- NEED TO PAINT! Thanks all!

If your website (which is very cool by the way) is correct you are in Orlando.

I get regular 1-shot from Tubelight, Sign Supply USA and Pearl Arts & Crafts in Altamonte Springs. I don't know if any of them carry Poster paints as I haven't used them before.

There is another place in Orlando that deals with Universal and Disney called Star Scenic Supply. They have unusual things I believe. 1-800-485-7827.

I think the Southern Paint in Orange City might have the Ronan and Rich Art products. I am pretty sure that Pearl has a bunch of the Rich Art stuff as well.

Howdy neighbor and good luck. [Big Grin]

Is condensation a problem on the outsides of the windows there in Florida?

Or is rain hitting the glass a problem?

If not, then use acrylics. Spray with clear enamals for rain protection. Clean up is easier and the paint less expensive.

A:)

Thank you all greatly for your assistance, fortunatly we found a supplier of 1-Shot Posters willing and able to sell by the gallon at $32.00. Currently we will be purchasing 20 Gallons in a variety of colors. I'm back on... see my work this Christmas all around Orlando!
