I want to stream line my general quoting and other job management operations that, with the right program, I could train employees to do...so that I'm free to do what only I know how to. I've Looked at the software "Cyrious" and wonder if anyone has used it. Comments, praise or riducule of the software would be appreciated.

We had it when it was the "new kid on the block" and liked it, although it was kinda pricey, but delivered. Employee handling was important to us at that time. It does offer much more than just estimating. You may want to look at "Estimate" as well. You may be able to get Demo versions. I guess it depends on your volume, plus what you want it to track for you. We also had a module from POS Activity but at the time we did not like it,....nor did their "reps" respond very well to us when we needed them to. Find out who may support you, and if you can return if not liked.

Philip, I used Activity POS. What happens is, you build up so much data after two or three years that you really get locked in to whatever program you originally choose. Activity POS got the job done, but I always felt like the program was clunky and the vendor's attitude high-handed, the exception being tech support who always went all out to resolve problems.
The punch line is, if I were starting over, I would be looking at Cyrious as the alternative. I have not really tested Cyrious. Rich is the only person I know who has actually used it. You never really know what a software will do til you live with it for a while, so the idea of a 90 day money back guarantee is very desireable.
If you have a small shop, do take a good look at EstiMate. It is a great little program, it just is not a full fledged store manager program like the more pricey alternatives. Vic G
