This is kind of in response to Richard Doyles post about cuttin vinyl
http://www.letterhead.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=020293

plus I havent done a step-by-step (or gif animation) in a while ... and was bored.

First off I agree with the others and love our gilutine(sp?) ... but sometimes things have to be cut down to fit in it.

This premise is reeeaaaaalll simple.
Raise the edge of your cutting table to rest material and a ruler/square against .. and keep everything square.
Been sheeting material like this for years (lots and lots of banners, magnetic, paper, etc.)

(hope pic shows)

a 5-Thumb rating on that one Mark!

...but, could you slow that gif down a little? Maybe it's my DSL, but I need 2 go-rounds to finish reading step 1, & then skip another trip to rest my eyes & try to catch your #2 train (of thought) guess I'm getting old, & never was a speed reader.

Those are the kind of tips that make you think
"why didn't I think of that?"

Excellent tips Mark, thanks for sharing.
