Where can I get water based paint, exterior, that is not acrylic laytex?

Don't think you will find any for exterior use or interior for that matter. Since you didn't give any info. some type of artist colors may be solubol in water but would not hold up. the closet thing would be the old style milk based paint for furniture. Even the paints used for kids to play with are based on some form of acrylic base for the carrier.
oil or water based paint still have three items the pigment,(color ) carrier (oils or acrylic) and thinner (petro based or H20). You can check out the art supply joint Dick Blick and see if the have something you can you. I belive it is dick blick.com or blick.com
