Ever since I started using photoshop a few years ago I've been doctoring photos of my trucks to add different wheels, change paint schemes and other "modifications"..
Well, it finally hit me that I could make money doing the same thing for other people so I added photo editing as a service available via my site to other car and truck freaks out there.
Check out the new pages/images and let me know what you think! The pics are my truck but the modifications are 100% faked except I actually have a lowered suspension. http://www.stickerpimp.com/auto/di-mazda.htm

Nice Design Work and maybe it will work in your area.. But here in Nova Scotia we have a very favorite saying and that is (Here comes a smooth spot)... Most of the roads are pitted with pot holes and you would be lucky to find a smooth spot. So anything that is a low rider will bottom out and the chop shop will make lots of money from the owner.. Still a nice idea or design if the roads will handle it...If not then I guess we Park and Fly...

Still like to see some design on the body that you have in mind...

Cool flames, I'm doing the same thing with my S-10. I scanned in a photo, working in CorelDRAW and Photo-Paint. I'm working on the paint design and also added a cameo bumper cover and got rid of the background, blacked out the windows and shaved the handles. It's already lowered, more of a pro-street look, 355ci-375HP with a 700-R4 tranny. Just need to finish the paint and cosmetics.

Stephen, the roads where I'm at are very nice and smooth. Arizona is a custom truck/lowrider's paradise. The weather and roads allow people to take vehicles like the one I mocked up and make them their daily drivers. =)

Cool stuff, been doing this for years... First image I did was for the Cadillac Allante, we made a 'latino' version, chopped top, flames, 18" wheels, lowered and sidepipes. Here is a picture of my old 'shop' truck, 2 pictures one of the hill, and one of the car, this is what I usually drive like... That is why this is my former truck... Looks great, I hope the roads in Arizona are as wide as they are smooth. That rig is gonna have the turning radius of a bus.........a very long bus

"I started out with nothing and still have most of it left"
Since the truck is already a dark color (dark green) I actually converted the image to CMYK then copied the black channel into another image. Then I brightened that image, which gave me a lighter base to work with yet maintained the right shading.. this makes for realistic color changes. =)
The flames were done using a Hue/Saturation Adjustment layer that was set to colorize using yellow. Then I used the inner glow layer effect for the orange and there's actually a deep red/orange outter glow layer effect that makes it a little richer color.
