OK. Got a few misspelled words and a few pictures are misplaced left or right, but my site is up at long last, I am most proud to say! Please email me your comments and I welcome all criticism about the site.
Criticism about the painting is welcome as well, but please respect the fact that I have been doing these this way a few years and teaching me new tricks will be a great challenge.
Let me hear from you! Preston

Beautiful paintings! I just wish I could click the pictures for an enlarged view. Also, you should have clickable links on each page for navigating all around the site. A great portfolio, Preston!

Some very nice work. Like the use of color and mood. Some of them remind me a little of Thomas Hart Benton, though different in many ways. Are the thumbnails supposed to be able to enlarge?

Too busy with too much computerization. I would cut back in the background. Eliminate some of the double outlines on the consequential info and warm up the complementary color scheme if you want one. Emphasize the obvious and use at least three compatible font styles in your overall layout. Lastly, inject some light on something else other than your blended letters. Highlights and lowlights on some of your letters would lend themselves perfectly at this point in a beveled edge style.

I was looking at that earlier. It is a treat to end up the year. Good stuff. Fine colors to wake up the senses, and lots to look at. Good question Adrienne had; do you sell this? (lighter backgrounds will really give it depth) love it, Deb

Thanks to all who have so positively responded. Yes, I sell them and no, the third one on the top square ox-scape did just sell to a local KC person here yesterday for $1200. The galleries would double that. Tell me you are a Letterhead and I will cut even my studio price in half again and send Steve and Barb a nice commish! The narratives are pricey and the rectangle bigger landscapes get up there as well. Any specific pieces let me know and I will deal to Letterheads. Where do I get the time? I do not sleep as much as most people and I gave up drinking years ago. I love to paint and do so as much as I can stand!

Nice work Preston, altho I am disappointed that I can't click on the thumbnails to get to larger views of your work. Hope you have that in the works. Have you ever seen the work of Maynard Dixon? I think you would enjoy his handling of the landscape, similar to yours. I would offer some criticism if I could see the larger works, AND if you really desired it. I wonder why you aren't represented by a gallery or two? What do you care if they double the price if they are selling them for you? Maybe you don't want to be in that higher tax bracket? ;-) There are some fairly spectacular landscapes out my way in southern Utah... if you ever decide you want to see, you and your spouse have a place to stay here.
