These past 2 weeks has brought out the absolutely worst, and best in me. My sister Joni, died at UCLA Medical center on friday the 13th and had to be buried in N.J. the following thursday. The burial took place at my families plot at St.Marys in Clifton. I am the last of my immediate family. My X girlfriend who I brought from L.A. in 1969, who now lives in Forest Hills, Queens where I was born and raised, practically begged me to fly into JFK, so she could pick me up and have me stay with her. Let me tell' ya, it was quite a trip, and we bonded gracefully, I've waited 30 years for this.
Thats all I have to say.

Sounds like you've been on an emotional rollercoaster. I'm terribly sorry to hear about your sister, and that you are the last member of your family. I'm thrilled that you touched base with a good friend from the past. I hope she can help fill in some of the void.
