Been with Earthlink since I've been online. They have been my one and only ISP. Don't even know how long that is now ... guessing about 5 years.
First had dial up ... now on DSL. I'm very happy with Earthlink overall.
I've been told that my dial up with them was faster than most. (by visitors using my machine) DSL now just can't be beat!

I am curious about the price of Earthlink DSL. I presently use BellSouth DSL and it's $49.95(residential rate - Business rate is $79.95) a month. Is there a company offering good DSL service for a better price? Or is $49.95 the going rate? Judy

We had Earthlink till we got DSL and the only reason we quit Earthlink is because DSL was not available in our area through Earthlink.
IF you ever decide to leave Earthlink, and they are automatically charging your credit card, good luck.
They keep you on the phone 4 hours, wont let you just write or fax or e-mail a letter to disconnect. It took me 4 attempts to get rid of them.
Other than that, they have a great service, easy way to create your own personal web site, and an easy way to upload pictures using their automatic FTP program which copies the pic off your hard drive and places it on their server in your personal space. You just click on the picture you want to upload and they do the rest!

I have Earthlink DSL and they host our website. I have been very happy with them, never had a problem and they answer all of my stupid questions with out treating me like the idiot I am!
