After reading the post on the old ways, it got me to thinking about the way I used to do things. So I looked for some old photos of work I did almost 20 years ago.. and this is what I found. Now I know that some of the layouts are not that great and the Artwork is not as polished as some of yours, but it is all hand done.
The motorcycle tank is all airbrushed with Laquers, and there's quite a bit of detail in there, That photo is about 20 yrs ago.
The meat shop pickup is from around 16-17 BC. Before Computers) years ago. All hand done with 1 shot,. Same goes for the auto body shop as well.
The beauty and the beast was for a local video store and is around 8ft high and I guess that was done around 10 or 12 years ago? not quite sure on that one.. When did beauty and the beast come out?
I thought that I'd show one from just a few months ago I did for a local Carpet shop. My how technology changed things, but for the better in many ways.. at least in my opinion. Yes I sure do miss the satisfaction of painting, but the biggest reason I like the new technology is the health issue. No more lead paint imbeded into my fingernails, and not so much fumes in my lungs.
And the digital capibilities these days is awesome, I could go on forever about that.
Anyway if you have any old Photos of your work I'm sure that would be interesting to see by everyone, and probably yourself as well.
Have a great day!
