I'm thinking about buying the sevice plan for my Edge II and Envision 375. I would like some to get some feedback on what people think about buying one and which one to buy. It's a fair amount of money but.....Thanks!

You've invested a pile of money in your equipment and a service contract is an insurance policy so to speak...minimize downtime to maximize your return on investment. Also, let's hope you get so much business for that thing that you will burn out your printhead and clutches faster...service contract hedges against unexpected costs.

This year I only needed it once & the part was probably less expensive then the service contract, but when my power supply went out at a very in-opportune time, I was gratefull for priority response time on the tech call, quick accurate trouble-shooting & diagnosis, & immediate overnight shipping of my new power supply, along with knowledge that I could count on help with installation if needed. If anything major had went wrong without my having coverage, there are times where my resources would be taxed greatly if I had to pay full price for major repairs. The peace of mind knowing I am not taking that kind of gamble is worth a lot also. This coming year will be even easier to fork out the $1800 for the plan I selected, since my printhead will be due sometime before too long.
